They are also intentionally conflating machine-learning and generative AI slop to confuse and try to make GenAI seem necessary. Google Maps traffic stuff is machine learning, not GenAI, for example. Auto-correct is too. Don't let them make you lose the thread. GenAI slop is slop.

it’s really insidious to ban someone for having accurate alt text which is meant to make language accessible to people who use it. so all of a sudden people with disabilities don’t have a right to know what’s going on in the world or what’s being posted?

I manage most of the symptoms of my ADHD pretty well but the worst for me is the RSD. It makes meeting new people especially dating hell. Like as soon as anything starts going well but are still uncertain the read receipt on a text message becomes the mortal enemy of my peace of mind.

Nearly every headline and quote I read about the US government these days just reminds of a Marx brothers quote "who you gonna believe me or your own lying eyes"
