I'm thankful for so much this Thanksgiving, family, friends, still being able to feed everyone with veggies from the garden, a kid who is an amazing potter making a new pot for an old plant allowing new plant babies to grow in the old one.

Our class goose and I on the GO train headed to school. The kids loved it! They named it Shine and baby goose is Blinky Pie. I love grade 1 &2's. They cant wait to take Blinky Pie home for the weekend.

My kid reminded me that tradition is important, so we went to opening day of the CNE, just like we have for 20+ years and it was so worth it. Ate too much junk, rode a few rides , laughed so hard, played a few games (hubby finally won at bingo twice). It was an awesome day.

Every now and again I am reminded that where I see an older fluffier version of myself in the mirror and find my faults,my husband sees me for who I really am inside and out and still finds that beautiful. I am so lucky.

I grew my first crop of garlic! We have some early carrots and our first ripened tomatoes too. I love gardening!
