I think the bulk my efforts learning to draw were bic mechanical pencils and spiral notebooks. I didn't start using nice supplies for like, years. This isnt even work I ever showed anyone and I doubt I'm alone in that. You can also do some beautiful work with bic pens with enough practice.

finally watching the new Defunctland with Vi. She is a major -- and critical -- Disney fangirl, and I am a graduate from digital culture studies, so this one is hitting us both in particular ways.
