Zoomers who can't figure things out in classic games are EXACTLY the same as Boomers who don't know how to work a smartphone, but in reverse.

Y'all have been playing Yellow Paint: The Game too much.

I mean, it basically pioneered context-sensitive damage and accurate shooting in a full 3D FPS.

A headshot was instant kill every time. Necks, arms, legs, feet, even butts and groins were able to be damaged individually with appropriate reactions.

For 1997? That alone was MIND BLOWING.

There are, right now, more video games in existence, already made, than I could hope to play in a lifetime. If I have start digging into all of those then I will do so gladly until dipshit anti-creatives stop putting genAI in games.

"GenAI is the future and it becoming the norm in game development is inevitable, so get used to it."

If that becomes a reality, I will actually just quit buying games. I'm not contributing any money to that filth.

Sometimes I just feel disconnected from the average person who enjoys videogames. I was genuinely surprised at how beefy the Nightreign DLC was - I was not expecting an entirely new map, very distinct in flow from the original one.

It's being review-bombed to hell on Steam for having no content.

On this day in 2001, Animal Crossing for Nintendo GameCube released in Japan. I have many memories of this one. The series has definitely grown in popularity since then. Do you have any memories of this?
