As he celebrates his 100th Birthday this very day, can we all take a moment to acknowledge that time when Dick Van Dyke won the internet internet.

Forever.

A friend has a better story than mine: he saw Dancer in The Dark in a theater in Providence w/ a guy who wouldn’t let anyone else sit in his row. As things got worse & worse for Björk he would wave his arms around screaming “OH MY GOD!” & later turned around, looked at the audience & yelled “SHIT!”
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

Might as well get on the Ella McCay train now, y'all know in 10 years it'll be seen as some idiosyncratic work of magic like How Do You Know.

AP on Trump now, and Biden in June 2022.

For Trump, declining to 36 percent approval is “good news.”

For Biden, holding steady at 41% is “a source of concern.”

I always run into Brad Lander around the neighborhood because he's on his way to help people out; Goldman was supposed to be at a community meeting (of mostly elderly folks!) who had all come out to talk with him, and at the last minute, he FaceTimed in from his car instead, and left the call early.
I've probably photographed Brad Lander more than any other elected in NYC because the dude shows up. He's everywhere, he's incredibly accessible, and he genuinely loves New Yorkers. You can literally go up and talk to him whenever he shows up. Go ahead, try it!

(I have NEVER seen Goldman ANYWHERE.)

The Trump administration is not anti-crime. It is totally for crime done by rich people.
EXCLUSIVE: Federal tax prosecutions fell to their lowest level in decades this year, declining more than 27% from the year before as the Trump administration cut the ranks of attorneys and agents who pursue those cases, a Reuters examination has found.

Giving the Nobel Peace Prize to a lying lunatic begging for Donald Trump to invade her country and turn it into a colony is basically as awful as giving it to Trump himself.
