I decided to print out a couple of solo (or solo-friendly) #TTRPG PDFs, to play over the Christmas break.
I would REALLY like it if they all had a print-friendly / low-color version available. 😞

If I could change ONE THING about TTRPG reviews I would force people to engage with the quality of the physical books themselves, not just the content inside.
It feels vanishingly rare to see a reviewer discuss form factor, paper stock, binding, cover treatments, or general durability etc. 1/2

Halfway through a solo game of Ex Novo by @sharkbombs.bsky.social and @konstantinosd.bsky.social. I'm having a lot of fun with this version of the game! I will finish it up in a few days and add some proper lines and color to the pencil map and post it.

My internet has been down since Thursday. The ISP says they sent a technician and he said he fixed it, so he closed the ticket. He didn't fix it, of course, didn't contact me either. They told me I didn't need to submit a new ticket because I did mark this one as unresolved.

I had Covid and I can pinpoint precisely, to a minute, when I lost the sense of taste - I got sushi and between one bite and the next I stopped tasting anything at all. I got it back a month later, on my way to my parents' for Christmas. The McDonald's fries tasted AMAZING after weeks of nothing.

Streaming apps for a smart TV are dire, but the unbeatable king of shit UI is the mobile YT app.
They keep a/b testing the most obviously broken UI changes, new bullshit feature every couple of weeks. Like the one that put descriptions on top of the thumbnails and made everything unreadable.

My internet is down, and that's how I realized that some past Android update removed the option to turn on voLAN on my OnePlus phone. Which means when I'm on a call with someone (like an internet provider) and need to access the internet (to check the details they're asking about), I CAN'T. Neat. 🫠
