Keir Starmer, Wes Streeting and NHS boss Amanda Pritchard all want more private sector involvement in our #NHS

Let’s get out there and show them the public wants to keep our NHS public!

Why is no one talking about the fact that NHS adult hospital bed occupancy in England is sitting at the unsafe level of 96%?🚨

+that ~14087 beds last week were occupied by someone ready to go home, but who can’t because of the social care crisis? The situation is the worst it’s been all winter🚨

9 bags of litter collected in January. Not loads, but still 9 bags too many.
I am focusing on a much smaller area this year.

Trump's inauguration should mark a turning point. Time for the UK to stop trying to ride the US's coattails and start working with those who share our values and want the things we want.

I am encouraged by the news from Doha this evening on the ceasefire & the release of hostages.

It is now essential that we bring in much-needed aid to Palestinians & that international partners step up to the plate by rebuilding of Gaza & bring lasting peace.

Wes Streeting says that GP practices aren’t ’formally part of the NHS’ and is refusing to support them through the financial difficulties created by the new budget🚨🚨🚨

It definitely is a bold move.
Glasgow just opened Scotland’s first Overdose Prevention Centre, a bold move to tackle the drugs crisis. It’s time for Belfast to follow suit. GPNI leader Mal O’Hara has long advocated for these centres, which save lives, reduce harm, and connect people to support. Let’s act now.

Cold and frosty litter pick.
The frosty does make things look pretty, shame about the litter. Two bags were collected.

You teach the same curriculum and jet you get paid less because you teach in a college, not a school.
Labour, can you explain the pay injustice, as I don't get it.

We can all do a little something to help the wildlife.
We're losing wildlife. Frogs, butterflies, bumblebees, hedgehogs, moths, bats, insects, birds are all declining. But if more of us take positive actions for biodiversity in our gardens, communities, landscapes and towns, we can help nature bounce back. Who's in?
