What I tell my students all the time when we’re discussing history - just because it was legal, doesn’t mean it was right.
The law is not now, nor has it ever been, a moral instrument.

It is too hard to get good medical care, live through childbirth, get childcare that doesn’t cost as much or more than housing, get equal pay, continue with work, & not go insane. That’s all. Thats it. That’s the whole story.

We can only control what we can control, which is very little, and that SUCKS, but you can work in your community to do SOMETHING, just find 1 thing to put your energy behind, and figure out how to limit your exposure to that which you cant control and will lead you spiraling downward. (2/2)
