Why do we call it a 'turkey'?
I still don’t trust the staying power of the social media paradigm that has dominated. Social media platforms used to live and die at the pace of internet culture. Now it’s impossible to imagine a world beyond Twitter? I mean, how is Facebook still a thing? How have these platforms lasted this long?
Been thinking about this line all day and the history it represents, which feels both brief (15 years! That’s all!) and frustratingly impossible to imagine a world beyond, somehow.
