You can’t say this and then have state police support ICE’s work. At worst he knows this is happening and is talking out of both sides of his mouth. At best, he didn’t prepare for the deference and fealty of law enforcement to Trump. Neither is a good look.

They've got it exactly backwards. Why should Dems be willing to negotiate with Republicans on anything if the appropriations agreement can be changed at will by the administration? They key item to negotiate are provisions to ensure approps deals are followed by the admin.

Given that the Sumud flotilla was approaching Palestinian, not Israeli waters, it is entirely up to the government of the State of Palestine whether they are allowed in. The UK recognises the State of Palestine. Ergo, the UK must demand that the Israelis respect its right to control its borders.
