We're moving into spring. There's active night time severe warnings up, and.... the radar in Abilene has been dead for 7 hours.

This Musk thing isn't so great.

The lead prosecutor on the Adams investigation - Hagan Scotten - resigns from SDNY.

“I expect you will eventually find someone who is enough of a fool, or enough of a coward, to file your motion [to dismiss Adams charges]. But it was never going to me.”

Courts *ordered* the Trump admin to stop its spending freeze

Yet ProPublica found place after place where $ is still frozen

-hot meals for elderly and disabled
-groceries for those in need
-maternal & child health services
-a clinic that serves the poor

Got a much needed mental break via the park system and so thankful to them, the rangers, and everyone who honors and protects these places. ❤️ They will need our support these next few years along with so many others. Don’t give up and don’t give in. ❤️👊

HCR once again illuminates the despotism of Republicans in America today, fully on display in North Carolina. At what point is the majority going to have enough of this fuckery? @hcrichardson.bsky.social

Almost ten weeks after the 2024 election, North Carolina remains in turmoil from it.

I don't want my fridge to have a camera or Wi-Fi. I don't want my dishwasher to be smart. I don't want my washing machine to text me.

In fact, I kinda miss knobs and dials and knowing big appliances would last 20 years and could still be repaired.

Once again so much of inflation wasn't real, it was corporate collusion and price gouging.
Potato distributors allegedly used a pricing app to collude and raise prices nearly 50% over 2 years.

This is the EXACT practice that Biden & the Khan FTC have attacked, but voters just threw them out because... the price of food is too high
Lawsuits target ‘potato cartel’ enabled by price data aggregators
Frozen potato producers are the target of multiple new federal lawsuits alleging that companies have been coordinating their prices through third-party data providers to form a “potato cartel.” Com…

This hurts my heart. My daughter is 12, and she’s already dealing with shitheads at school parroting the “your body, my choice” bullshit.

The next 4 years are going to be terrible as we witness what is about to be normalized.

I'd like to remind the rest of the world
that the majority of US voters
have voted against Trump
for 3 elections in a row.
Trump has fallen below 50% of the popular vote.

With 152.7M votes counted so far, he leads Harris 49.99%-48.22%.

This was not a landslide or a blowout by any means.

159+M total ballots in 2020.
