A coda to this: I've seen people calling it the Epstein Ballroom, and that makes quite a lot of sense. Donations like the ones Trump is so eager to brag about were Epstein's specialty. They were how he insinuated himself into so many powerful places.

<div class="field field-field-text"><p>Buses of Palestinian prisoners on Monday arrived in Ramallah in the occupied West Bank amidst cheers and slogans. Crowds cheered as the released Palestinians got off the buses that transported them from Ofer Prison. </p>
<p>Television footage earlier showed two buses carrying Palestinian prisoners leaving the prison. </p>
<p>Israeli authorities are set to release 1,966 Palestinian prisoners, including 250 serving long or life sentences, and approximately 1,700 individuals who were detained from the Gaza Strip over the past two years.</p>
<p>Hamas on Monday freed 20 Israeli captives as part of a deal to end the war in Gaza and facilitate a prisoner exchange.</p>

I’ve been asked quite a lot over the years about how I remain calm when responding to trolls and bad actors. Some day I’ll do a bigger write up, but one of the biggest things that has helped me a lot is to remember:

Know what creates empathy? Books. Reading about people unlike ourselves and experiences we'll never have. Which is why some people want to remove those books and discourage reading. Kids and adults should read widely. Most spend their spare time online, which is where indoctrination often begins.

This underscores the importance of a very good election team. Look, I've been a Judge of Elections for five years. I know it can be a scary idea to be involved with elections--but you are clearly needed. Run as a local elections official or step up to be a poll worker. Be the eyes on the good works.
A New York judge has ordered a full hand recount of all presidential and state Senate ballots in Rockland County following claims of major voting irregularities, including one district where Vice President Kamala Harris reportedly received zero votes.
