If any churches are willing to stand against the growing tide of far-right xenophobia in the UK then ministers will be highlighting Jesus ethnicity & Mary & Joseph's position as oppressed people who eventually flee to another country to save their child's life (you know the Lord and Saviour kid)

If Starmer's Labour does decide to go full on Trumpian in approach to their immigration policy then we'll all need to be more of this type of Glasgow!

If Starmer's Labour does decide to go full on Trumpian in approach to their immigration policy then we'll all need to be more of this type of Glasgow!

If that were true, his politics now would be different and he’d apologise. He’s defensive because this is what he is and always has been and he’s angry with us for knowing that and for minding.

Labour's anti-asylum policies are already fundamentally inhumane and discriminatory. Applying them retrospectively is pure cruelty though. It serves absolutely no purpose. Meanwhile it will increase the costs and bureaucracy of an already dysfunctional Home Office.

Sometimes I wonder if I overdo it with batch cooking. Other days a cold has come on from a slight sniffle this morning to aching sinuses this evening, making me glad for easy meals. 🤧

It makes me so upset to see this at a primary school. These are children and their parents being targeted. I’ve taught kids who have had to flee their countries. Most people couldn’t survive what these kids have been through in their short lives.

It's only the Welsh seals who can sing in 4-part harmony. Scottish & Irish seals can't.
Incredible footage has been captured of seals hauntingly singing in a cave in west Wales.... This is believed to be a world first where seals have been recorded singing in harmony.

This has been happening for years and instead of doing anything to protect children successive governments have made the situation worse. This isn't just on councils. It is part of failings on a State level.

We should all be up in arms and horrified by these numbers 💔
But most of the country won't be because they're not "our" children and "immigrants" though I bet if there had been even 20 Ukrainian asylum seekers missing there would have been outcry.
