How it started vs. How it’s going NOW 👀

Minneapolis has FIFTY YEARS of inclusive laws protecting trans people, allowing them to self-identify, and ZERO cases of trans people attacking women in the bathroom. ZERO. Over FIFTY YEARS.
The narrative is that trans people will harm and harass people in the bathroom, but it almost always is actually like this case where the aggressor is the transphobe confronting the trans person. It's ridiculous. They want to kick "undesirables" out from public life entirely, if they could.

a wealth tax is a winning issue.
"For the first time, a majority of Americans believe billionaires are a threat to democracy. A remarkable 71 percent believe there should be a wealth tax. A majority believe there should be a cap on how much wealth a person can accumulate."

This is an impeachment offense, and if our press were worth half of a quarter of a shit, it would be all over every single channel, kind of like Joe Biden being a bit slow with a name now and then.
This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

If your campaign uses milestone leveling, where characters advance when the story does, then each player should make a little road map for their character's planned arc, and the points on that graph should be milestones as well.

Characters should always be more important than plot.

America is a country that will test UBI hundreds of times, get the same radically positive results each time, and still look at it askance, but will also put untested robotaxis on the road because a billionaire threw a shit fit.

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

#DnD is a quintessentially American #rpg. It's everywhere you look, so people buy it who don't need it, and other RPGs get bigger and chunkier as a result.

DnD is the Ford F350 of TPGs.

Lots of people know about dnd. Lots of people know where to go for dnd. Maybe a lot of people prefer other systems, but if the group can't agree, they'll probably all be willing to settle on dnd.

DnD is the Applebee's of #rpg systems.

We all need to say this very clearly:

NO BAILOUTS FOR THEFT-TECH!

Expropriate their asses instead.

They owe us - not the other way around. 1/3

It’s notable that two of the leading tech industries in America are just companies that buy GPUs and burn them out for a *chance* at money.

Neither produce a product with tangible value.

Both are causing spikes in energy prices.

Both have the ear of the president.
From @candicebernd.bsky.social in our magazine: A Texas Observer analysis found since 2021, at least 60 cryptomines have been developed or are under construction in at least 33 counties statewide. Experts worry our grid, and water supply, can't handle the load.
