I'm hearing now that *every* technologist CFPB hired to investigate Big Tech was fired this evening. That's somewhere between 70-100 people.

The Stonewall Inn released a response to the National Parks Service removing the word transgender from the park outside of the Inn. A great reminder that we have to look after each other

trying not to be too much of a downer on this account but removing the t from the stonewall website has got to be one of the most abhorrent things that's come out of trumps presidency
trans women at stonewall gave gay americans the rights they have today and to remove them from history is a disgrace

Crazy, the US are fighting to keep their Stonewall monument trans inclusive, whilst in the UK our Sonewall organisation appears to have opted to silently drop the T.
If you are going to the stonewall protests tomorrow, please stay in touch with me, drop pictures, and help me report what's going on on the ground. I'd love to write a good story about what happens tomorrow if it turns out to be a big one.
Protest at Stonewall tomorrow.

Someone try telling that to the UK Stonewall, who couldn't say the word 'trans' in a statement speaking out about attacks on trans people.

Not worthy of the name! Seriously, they should rename themselves the Privileged Gay Men's Society or something.
The only correct way to spell it is 'S_onewall'

Because you can't spell 'S_onewall Without a T'

Follow @transexualmenace.bsky.social for updates on an action at S_onewall on Saturday 2/22.

They've thrown the first brick at Stonewall. They KNOW the significance of what they're doing. The religious right want to 'separate and divide the letters', and they've been trying to do the same here too.

I am still livid and seething with what NPS did to the Stonewall site.

As the sign at Stonewall says:

"In the name of those who came before me, I pledge to be brave, to be true to myself and to fight for hell for equality"

In response to the erasure of trans history at stonewall, I suggest we reenact that pivotal moment in queer history by throwing bricks through the windows of Tesla dealers and Trump properties. Teslas themselves are also fair game.

Trans women were at Stonewall.
The Stonewall riots began when patrons of a low rent New York gay bar said “Enough!”
Prominent among the rioters were dykes, sex workers, trans women and drag queens.
Many rioters were already seen as the lowest of the low, they had ‘nothing to lose’.

Labour's migrant-bashing isn't just wrong.

It's a proven politically disastrous strategy which succeeds only in fuelling the radical right.
