Cheating because I worked at movie theaters but I have so many. My friend sobbing at the realization that Meryl Streep is dead for all of Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again is always the first to mind.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?
Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

This is extra funny because the “Greatest Generation” earned that moniker because they fought in WWII, the last great thing America did as a collective

I think the reason I’m less harsh on Wicked: For Good as some critics is the same reason why I’m less harsh on It: Chapter 2, in that I’ve had decades to accept that this part of the story is just Like That and was able to go into the adaptations and enjoy them trying their best to flail through it
