Ok a big reason I never saw it was because cute sidekicks annoy me and The Child being Baby Yoda’ed so hard everywhere put me off.
But now I can say that Mando is a cool guy and worth it

This one's extra personal to me and I appreciated it; I grew up in a super conservative Star Wars loving family and saw early on how my parents thought they were the noble freedom fighting rebels (who went on to be Trump voters).
I remember Star Wars themed sermons at church about it in like 2009!
