In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

@markwarner.bsky.social folks from VA are texting me to contact their reps to say "No" to this fake deal. Have Trump and the Republicans kept a deal? Look at what they did to DC funds! Look at what they've done to court decisions! They are playing Dems to get a concession that they will not keep!

Wearing my "Policy & Change" tee, & it started me thinking of the 2 parties' responses to recent gun violence--1 side, fund mental health, increase gun restrictions; the other side, CIVIL WAR! It reinforces my idea the left is principled & is about policy; the right is merely out for power.
