The decline of the US empire could expose opportunities for Tribes to assert real sovereignty apart from the federal machine. That said, the decline of the empire also turns it's violence even more towards the imperial core, so we need to get our communities talking about mutual defense/support.

Probably correct that at least some GOP senators have been cowed by violent threats (threats coming from people who stormed the capitol building and tried to kill them). I also think this is precisely why TRUMP SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO RUN AGAIN, I wonder if anyone made this point at the time

these guys literally only know one move and not only is it a terrible move on its own terms, but in this specific case is wildly inadequate to the moment.
