Karoline Leavitt told reporters that President Trump does not want to execute members of Congress who urged the military not to follow unlawful orders, but that he wants to see them “held accountable.”

😡 But that’s not what HE SAID!!!

This cannot become our new norm.

This is indefensible.

I can't speak to this more practically, but you should not use TurboTax for a myriad of reasons (including they lobby to make it so you can't do taxes easily without them). Not everyone can afford to use an accountant (or needs one) but TaxSlayer is fine.
TurboTax is about to be integrated into ChatGPT, where customers will be guided through tasks tied to their tax filings or financial profile by the AI chatbot.

TurboTax owner Intuit is also paying OpenAI more than $100 million a year to power AI agents.

But on a day where the president both just called a woman reporter "Piggy" and is celebrating someone who had people bone saw apart one of my colleagues, I might just be a little ready to defend my colleagues and profession.

But that's just me

Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.

You might say it's not normalized but private citizens have shot folk for less. They shot Trayvon Martin for less. Michael Brown. Latasha Harlins. I ain't seen no kidnappers get shot

If we can normalize that, why would I ever compromise on housing, healthcare, education, food security?

The New York Times obit for Alice Wong doesn’t mention Covid or Gaza

It ignores two of her biggest causes because of political bias

Alice fought tirelessly for Covid mitigations

She fought for the people of Gaza

She rightfully reminded us that the genocide in Gaza is a disability justice issue
