I don’t know how we’ve gotten to the point where men in full balaclavas can abduct daycare teachers while they’re watching children.

I don’t know how we’ve gotten to the point where men in full balaclavas can abduct daycare teachers while they’re watching children.

If we primarily judged nations based on their founding principles and cherished ideals, as opposed to their historical practices, we would be able to excuse all sorts of atrocities.
No one can deny that America has done a lot of awful things - but it was clearly not founded on ideals of “genocide” but on universal rights and an open society governed by the people for the people
