fun fact: lott resigned after a second tape emerged of him repeating his remark that america would have been better off if strom thurmond had been elected president. A reader of my old blog was the one who came up with that tape, which became public after I alerted a journo I knew.

My Biden Hot Take: the only true catastrophe of Biden’s presidency was his ride-or-die support of a highly visible genocide. But this was so terrible that the media talks about everything else - age, economy, etc.) to avoid talking about it.
it's kind of funny from a economic policy perspective, Bidenomics was actually fairly successful (full employment, IRA + other state-driven investment)

Perusing Twin Cities local news, i think there’s a huge disconnect. There are schools shut down and going remote, neighborhoods that are ghost towns, because we have federal agents terrorizing the community. But it’s just a single story a day at best
