I’m excited for another generation to have Reading Rainbow. Also it’s weird that Sesame Street will be on Netflix but I’m glad they continue to exist. Both are lovely pieces of my childhood

Catching up late (sorry): 16 years ago, when I was writing for the Annals of Emergency Medicine, I did a piece about ED docs' shock over the disappearance of pneumonia+meningitis and rotavirus post-Prevnar and Rotateq. Literally "where have the kids gone." Terrible to think that's reversible.

In the last couple days in Chicago, we’ve had a severe t-storm watch, tornado watch, tornado warning, wind advisory, fire watch and then a dust storm. And it went from like 91° to 62°.
