So much bad Christmas music at work today that I’m purging my aural receptors with classic @earacherecords.bsky.social Grindcore bands for the commute home.

People saying Trump is dying or possibly dead, but I for one would urge caution, because it is quite possible a second healtbar will appear as he enters his second phase and a gargantuan centipede will burst forth from his torso, so be careful of his new sweep attacks and toxic buildup from bites.

That, and Labour keeps telling everyone Reform are right about their key points, while failing to make people's lives materially better.
There can be absolutely no “shock” about this. The media has been shamelessly platforming Reform all summer. All summer, we’ve had hate-mongering headlines about immigration. It’s a tedious and grim inevitability that you’ve made people angry enough to want to vote for this shit in response.

On 27th August 2015, The Shepherd's Crown, the last book Sir Terry Pratchett completed before he died, was published.

To mark the ten year anniversary, we have a message from Rob Wilkins:

Was just viscerally reminded that it was only a couple years ago where I was truly like, "What the heck is Chat Jeepity?" and now it's causing people King-in-Yellow style psychosis while steadily immolating the planet

I’ve noticed a cultural change toward everyone bringing their own information with them, and it being tech-dependent

You used to have paper tickets. Now you need a QR code on your phone.

There used to be subway maps everywhere. Now you need an app.

There used to be public clocks.

Dear Mr. Clegg

I have started a business, selling the contents of your house

I knew when I launched I did not have legal access your house

Without this access my company will not be profitable

Others have told me I have a flawed business model, but I disagree

Please advise how I should proceed

In the old Channel 4 sitcom, Chelmsford 123, they ended a drought by declaring a bank holiday. It works to this day.

First barbecue of the year today, and I’ve gone overboard on the salads. Plain cut veg for fussy boy child, celeriac and apple remoulade, coleslaw and (not pictured) orange, fennel and rocket salad. Chillies just for me to go with the jerk chicken, that was just for me.

New book day. Two crackers. Looking forward to warmer weather to “cook” the ajo blanco and beetroot. In the meantime Tom Kerridge’s chicken in a wild mushroom sauce is imminent. #cooking #food

Momentarily wondered how Gerard Butler could have teamed up with Phil, Rex, Charlie and Zakk without me having heard about it. Doesn’t help having a poster reminiscent of the Damageplan cover.

Fine dining serving for a poorly child as per their a la carte request. Paw Patrol pasta shapes in red pesto, garnished with julienne carrots and celery, surrounded by Choco Hoops.

Backed this instantly. Refined version of my favourite RPG to run and compatible with everything I already own for it. Very excited.
The ALIEN RPG – Evolved Edition and Rapture Protocol just launched on Kickstarter and they've already smashed the target.

Expanded and updated core rules and a new cinematic scenario for the award-winning RPG from Free League and 20th Century Studios.
