Yesterday: Wrecktangle donates food to people who can’t leave their houses because of ICE

Today: ICE gasses Wrecktangle and the entire intersection
Locals! If you go out to eat tonight, Wrecktangle Pizza will donate a pizza to a family hiding from ICE.
From Wrecktangle Pizza 1/11/26: “TODAY ONLY, SUNDAY 1/11, email [email protected] a photo of your receipt fm ANY MINNESOTA RESTAURANT w/ the subject line “RECEIPT” & we’ll donate an additional meal on your behalf [to a family in hiding due to ICE].” Win/win: support restaurants & families.

This GFM is for someone in my community & it hasn’t gotten much attention yet. Alexander’s dad was abducted by ICE on his way to work, and now his family needs help. Please pitch in if you can!

Map shows reports of ICE activity in and around the Twin Cities on Sunday alone. Los Angeles and New York shown for comparison.

This particular resource may be less utilized in other cities, but it’s clear that Minnesotans are not afraid to continue documenting the actions of these thugs.

Been thinking a lot about this powerful piece about what living in Chicago under ICE was like in November.

It only took 3 people to scare off 3 carloads of ICE today in St. Paul. One super brave person had intervened and @tudehfruiteh.bsky.social & I showed up a minute or so later with whistles & phones and all 9 (or more, I didn’t catch all of them on video) of them got in their cars & left.

ICE totaled this car, abducted a woman, and then left it in the middle of Snelling Avenue, one of the busiest streets in the Twin Cities.

This isn’t law and order, this state sanctioned terrorism. It’s fucking disgusting.

A reminder, since I keep forgetting: the cold WILL screw up your phone battery when you’re outside for long periods of time! Plan ahead & patrol with a partner if you can

Hi folks, I'm seeing a lot of "Eyes on Minneapolis" & "We support Minnesota" sentiment. Here's a tangible way you can help:

Trump just suspended federal funding for SNAP benefits to Minnesota. Second Harvest Heartland is an MN-based hunger-relief org.

Please donate what you can.

Creating a thread of egregious ICE actions in the Twin Cities over the last 12 days.

For those who aren't plugged into what's going on - it can feel remote and "not so bad."

Likewise for folks far away. So this collection of stories and links aims to share a small part of the story.
