Choosing a piece of art or entertainment is not like ordering a sandwich. You don’t get to pick the ingredients. It’s all one thing. If it doesn’t sound appetizing, don’t buy it. That’s how you influence what gets made.
this debate again? ok.

In a shocking turn of events, many of the people who said they wanted "free speech" actually just wanted to be the ones in charge of which speech is free.
UPDATE—Mahmoud's attorney says they do NOT know where he is.
They were first told he was sent to an ICE facility in Elizabeth, NJ. But when his 8-month-pregnant wife tried to visit him, she was told he's not there.
They've received reports he may be sent as far away as Louisiana.

While simultaneously deporting people not accused of rape, Trump is importing those who are. It's too above their intellect and ideology to talk about hypocrisy, rather understand that homegrown rapists and terrorists IS the point.

Musk’s personal, private commodification of women’s bodies is coextensive with his political philosophy and its very creepy.
For those of you no longer on Twitter, another alleged secret child of Elon Musk's has just been revealed via the kid's mother, a blogger at the Babylon Bee and a Post Millennial contributor.

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO

Too many draws because there are too many games where Arsenal score a maximum of one goal. We did nowhere near enough for a second after taking the lead today and you're going to pay for that too often to win the league.
