This is a completely followable model for how to speak up without aiming directly at Trump and ICE. A lot of these teams, people, companies feel like if they go after Trump they'll be targeted and their people will be targeted. You can speak love to your community in these moments and it counts.

The majority of organizing happening in Minnesota isn’t just peaceful, it’s INVISIBLE. Moms showing up who won’t be interviewed on TV, people whose ICE patrols don’t turn into viral video. The grocery runs, the donations, the people filming bc they happen to be there. Please remember this.

Ran into an old friend today at the march in Minneapolis. Instant hugs. We used to go to a lot of these type of things together in the W years. Kinda lost touch over the past few years. Heartwarming to know we're still both out here doing the same shit.

I'm quickly becoming single issue voter on this platform.
This is the way. Any 2028 Dem candidates need to start saying that on Day One: (1) all ICE agents fired; (2) pensions/benefits defunded; (3) forced to pay backpay as restitution to victims; and (4) only way to avoid prison is to become a cooperating informant
Maybe instead of identifying specific ICE agents who do particularly heinous things, we could just penalize everyone who was on payroll at the agency starting by a certain date.

i am, i think, generally a pretty congenial center-left voter. i’m not a radical. i’m not a reactionary. but i have spent the last ten years watching the fed government be taken over by right wing reactionaries and i am increasingly convinced we should use the tools they are building against them
if republicans and a handful of democrats in congress are willing to authorize a full blown paramilitary guard, and we do nothing to stop them well, i want control of that guard. drag the heritage foundation board into guantanamo. deport jesse watters to CECOT if laws don’t matter, they don’t matter
