Bay Area transit riders have fully returned to the system since 2024 with more unique riders than in 2019 🎉

Each rider though is taking fewer trips/month than in 2019, so the next stage of the recovery requires retooling transit to better service more types of trips

A desperate plea for AC Transit to revisit their driver trainings as it’s 3:45 am and I was left alone & stranded in SF by an 800 bus driver.

She wouldn’t let me on her (nearly empty) bus because the bike rack was full. This is against AC Transit’s policy. I nearly broke down crying honestly!

AC Transit policy: Bicycles are allowed inside buses between midnight and 5:30 a.m. weekdays and between midnight and 9 a.m. weekends and holidays, if the rack is full and there is room inside. Exception: Bicycles are never allowed inside MCIs (the big, green commuter coaches).

"Fidel" works as an irrigator in the lettuce on CAs Central Coast. He works 9 hrs/day, 6 days/wks connecting irrigation hoses. "It's important work. I must be careful that the lettuce doesn't get too much or too little water. And I'm always checking for leaks." #WeFeedYou
