Last year, after 50 years or so, I started wearing proper pyjamas again. This year I started tucking the top in to the bottoms. Reminds me of my childhood and keeps my back warm.

The 1889 dock strike was a key event in the industrial history of East London. The striking dockers were ultimately successful in securing the ‘dockers’ tanner’ and had gained the sympathy of the public for their cause.

I keep little tin containing a variety of guitar picks in my office, for fellow guitarists to use when they come over for a jam. I've given it a lot of thought and really tried to cover all bases. Sadly, I don't know any fellow guitarists and nobody has ever come over for a jam.
