The ABC has a structural obsession with the Liberals because of the last decade of funding cuts and Senate estimates pressure, but I think this is also a consequence of exclusively hiring senior political reporters from News Corp. Their sources tend to be in one direction.

Just last week someone told me Trump would never shut down USAID because it buys so much US grain and I said, "I wonder if he knows that"
If only experts existed who could warn Americans repeatedly that foreign aid is money spent to pay Americans and buy things from Americans but no one's ever said it out loud so who can blame people for not understanding
U.S. businesses that sold goods and services to USAID are in limbo, including American farms dealing in rice, wheat and soybeans purchased as food aid.
