The timing sucks but I believe her that it's just the proverbual straw on the camel. Seeing people get unhinged about labels and not wanting to contribute is a response I personally understand. Somebody else who is not bothered by that can easily start one.

The creator is one of the Elders who follows a lot of other not terrible Elders and she has been posting for weeks about stress and anxiety from her different labelers and I am guessing this stuff today just made the stress to high to keep up the crazy effort. So I am actually mutuals with the creator. They follow a lot of people, not a big deal. The short version is they were already stressed running any moderation and they saw an unhinged post where somebody used one of the follow labels to imply others were part of some nefarious conspiracy.

I saw the creator's first post on their personal account - somebody was saying some very unhinged stuff and pointing to the follows Heritage Foundation label on somebody else's account in that unhinged way. They went beyond informing themselves to almost turning it into a rallying cry for a hate mob
