Pleading with all there is that the ceasefire is permanent. Afraid of the resistance to any humility and real grace it is masking. Including dreading Trump’s inability to accept it is not all about him, he didn’t do anything all by himself and he’s just the latest simply doing their jobs.

Top line: the radical right are helping make the political weather by a relentless focus on crime/idea of disorder/lawlessness. It is therefore very risky to start to associate yourself with the disorder you set yourself up as opposing, esp on v dubious grounds of “two tier” justice.
