Also worth noting that the public consistently overestimates spending for some of these things, such as foreign aid. If you tell them what percentage is actually spend, they tend to adjust their opinions.

Dmitry Maslovskyi, who fell in a hand to hand battle against a Russian soldier, has been posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine. President Zelensky presented the "Gold Star" to the mother of this brave soldier. Dmitry’s final battle in Donetsk was seen by millions.

They found a bullet fragment in his body.
I've had him for 9 years and never knew. The rescue didn't know his history, just that he was two and had trauma.
When I found out today, I broke down at the thought of it.
Human cruelty baffles me. I'm just glad we saved each other.
