The PCC is my favourite cinema. My BEST memories of watching films on the big screen are here. I got to watch my #1 movie, Goodfellas, with hundreds of others, for my birthday a few years ago. I threw spoons at the screen watching The Room there.

This podcast has kept me sane and informed like nothing else over the past few years. I shall be holding it ever closer for a while yet it seems.
Quick emergency pod on what's happening out there. A US administration basically just ticking off the checklist you'd find in any book on fascism and a broadcast media which seems intent on normalising it.
🚨New episode out🚨 Can we call it fascism yet? @dorianlynskey.bsky.social and @iandunt.bsky.social respond to the disturbing displays at Trump's inauguration and the many similarities with fascist parties of the past.

@scarredforlife.bsky.social I’m hoping the community can aid me determine the name of a film I saw in the mid 80s. Adventurer in a seemingly haunted castle. Old guy putting on clown makeup. Hero becomes a sort of scarred face baddie near the end. Might have been dubbed. Apologies for being so vague!

Okay okay I was joking earlier this week when I said 2025 was doing its best 2016 impersonation after the death of Tony Slattery. Now this?!?? Fuck you 2025.

Well this is a bit shit. We only saw him live 3 months ago and it was great to see him back on sparkling form. If this is 2025 starting its best 2016 impersonation, it can fuck off.

Your special Christmas gift from Origin Story: both parts of the Daily Mail story dropping on the same day.

It's a tale of halfwits, outright fucking Nazis and editors who base their entire management approach on screaming the word cunt.
📰New episode out📰The season 6 finale is a double episode on the Daily Mail. @dorianlynskey.bsky.social and @iandunt.bsky.social waded through the unpleasantness to bring you a fascinating tale involving a multi-generational dynasty and a LOT of swearing.
