I'd recommend a visit to Bastogne in Belgium and the scene of the Battle of the Bulge.
One of the last big battles of WW2, where US troops destroyed the remnants of the Wehrmarcht making victory inevitable.
The gentleman is a fine example of the courage of the US army.

From today, over 96,000 unpaid carers in Scotland will receive a £293.50 Carer’s Allowance Supplement payment - extra support that’s only available here in Scotland.

Dignity and fairness in action. That’s what you get with an SNP government.

Pastor Black: While I was in the middle of using the words of Jesus, they opened fire on me. It was so clear that they had been so poorly trained, or — the alternative — that they had been deliberately told to escalate violence against peaceful protesters.

Bike-lanes don’t cause traffic congestion.

Car dependency, dumb land-use sprawl, too many (& bigger) cars being driven too much taking up too much space, highly subsidized driving costs, and not enough choices in how to get around, ALL cause traffic congestion.

Think about it. THAT’S common sense.

Data centres are energy hungry but what if we could use their waste heat to heat our homes?

That's exactly what happens in places like Finland: Cities are tapping the vast amounts of waste heat generated by data centres, and feeding it into district-heating networks.

There's going to be a lot more pain – and regrettably there *needs* to be a lot more pain – for Farage supporters before this is out.

The Farage way is costly. That's the lesson. And you will damn well learn it.
Around 26,000 of the neediest people in County Durham will have to start paying council tax next year...

About 2,400 others who already pay some council tax will lose part of their rebate.

Women and the disabled will be disproportionately affected.

Not quite what Reform UK had promised.
Council tax shock for thousands of Durham’s poorest – thanks to Reform UK

The Dutch also have the big advantage of not constantly making excuses about why they can’t make clearly smarter city-making decisions. #Leadership

Wow - this guy must be really, REALLY bad with money if an extra £208 per month will “ruin” his retirement.

Let’s take a look at his situation based on what he told the @Telegraph

Because this does NOT add up!

No, this is not a “poor pensioner” scrabbling around for pennies…

70% of the additional spending from removing the two-child limit will go to families who are in work. This is targeting support for low-income working households who are being priced out of a decent standard of living despite doing everything asked of them.
