working on the snow castle some more for today's #NightmareKart dev thread!
To start, I polished up the spiral staircase room, blasting a chunk of the wall out to further imply that it was under siege at some point, explaining why its now considered 'forgotten'
I also added some chevrons!

Today is the birthday of cartoonist Marjorie Henderson Buell (Dec. 11, 1904-May 30, 1993), creator of the Little Lulu comic strip that first appeared in The Saturday Evening Post in 1935. The character went on to success in animation & comic books & appeared in Kleenex ads throughout the 40s & 50s.

This is also why I hate Top 10 lists and awards shows, because as much fun as they can be to observe and think about, I hate what making art compete against art does to us. I don’t want to deal with the inevitable Sinners vs One Battle After Another debate. I wanna celebrate having two amazing films
I hate the online reaction cycle that praises a piece of art a lot and uses it as an example of what’s good about the medium but then the moment it gets awards or enough acclaim or fandom, suddenly we have to talk about how it’s actually not really that good and it’s overrated and always sucked

Detour from the fandom stuff: I've now reworked my persona! I'm a lot more happy with this design than the old one, he feels equal parts edgy and cutesy now! Icon will be changed soon I'm super happy with it.
