quite wild that ten years ago saying "yeah I'd back myself to do a better job than most senior members of the US government" would have made you sound like one of those dweebs who reckon they could take on Serena Williams in a tennis court, but the answer now is "I mean yeah, duh?"

I can think of a few things I would put on the chopping block before the NPS. Most are attached to shoulders walking in and out of the White House on a daily basis.

US tariff rate is crazy bad
There's no question that today's tariff announcement will give the United States the highest tariff rates of any industrialized country. And it's not even close.

“There are so many great reasons to be on Signal.

Now including the opportunity for the vice president of the United States of America to randomly add you to a group chat for coordination of sensitive military operations.”

So to recap this weekend, the people who figure out how to predict hurricanes better = bad use of taxpayer $

Buying crypto shitcoins that have no intrinsic value and just go up and down randomly based on vibes = good use of taxpayer $

Do I have that right?

Watching the Trump administration sabotage the US over the past 6 weeks, it's possible that the exceptional cost-benefit ratio to supporting Ukraine was upset their determination for bad government.
Yes, the US mostly sent Ukraine older equipment the Pentagon had wanted to replace, then paid US manufactures for new, more advanced equipment.

Rarely does foreign policy deliver such a good cost-benefit ratio. That's why, to oppose this moral and strategic move, Trump-Vance-Musk-MAGA have to lie.
Even the equipment sent was largely going to be destroyed. That would have cost USD.

Instead, the US upgraded.

Musk’s status as a “special government employee” limits him to 130 days in the executive branch. However, despite working daily—documented by his own X posts—they claim he only works one day a week, effectively stretching his limit to 130 weeks. This needs to be brought to Congress—please share.
