If I were to defy a court order, I'd be in jail, not building a ballroom.

Reopen government, swear in Adelita Grivala, release the Epstein Files, restore healthcare subsidies, and fund SNAP.

Or we could… hear me out now… establish universal healthcare and be finished with corrupt insurance companies that bankrupt people forever. Silly me, right?
Doctors say insurers are automatically downgrading their claims, without actually reviewing details about the visit itself and paying less. Insurers say it’s their duty to prevent overbilling.

It is pretty galling that the Supreme Court spent four years telling Biden "you can't do that without Congress" then allowed Trump to seize a once-unthinkable amount of power from Congress within nine months and concentrate law-making authority almost entirely in the executive branch.

Seriously, @nytimes.com ?! No one has called it Obamacare in years and yet you call it that when printing an article about how bills will double unless Congress acts? It’s the Affordable Care Act. What is wrong with you? Are you fully in Trump’s pocket now?

Dear World,

We are so sorry our President is so awful. You have every right to hate us right now. Half of us hate it here too. He’s a total embarrassment. We’re doing everything we can to fight back, but the party of cowards love him/won’t stand up to him and without them it’s an uphill battle.

If Trump really wanted to sanction Putin, he could. It would be no problem. Congress would go for any sanction he wanted. So any time Trump puts a condition on sanctions, it’s just another piece of evidence that he is protecting Putin from sanctions and helping Russia in the war.

Planes are colliding, but our reality TV personality and avocational stripper Secretary of Transportation, Sean Duffy, remains laser-focused on what matters: rainbow crosswalks. This administration is always more interested in trolling than doing its job.

In 2016, Ghislaine Maxwell falsely stated, under oath, that she was not aware that Jeffrey Epstein recruited underage girls for sex (you know, the ones she was actually recruiting on his behalf). She was charged with two counts of perjury for this.

Remind me why we give a shit what she says now?

2 points here:

1) There's no statute of limitations in New York for Ghislaine Maxwell's crimes (maybe also options in New Mexico and Florida). A pardon can't stop state prosecutions.

2) We just got another reason to release the Epstein files: so the public can test Maxwell's truthfulness.
