The LACK of secure, safe housing people can actually find and AFFORD across the country is KILLING PEOPLE, and keeping partners and children trapped in ABUSE.

When do we start fucking caring enough to demand change? This is CANADA WIDE.

1- it's RE owners that are speculating/levering against their RE vs EVERYONE ELSE. Not a generational war

2-Baby Boomers who RENT exist. They are some of the hardest hit in the housing crisis and going homeless at alarming rates- pensions don't come anywhere close to covering today's rents!

Isn't this GOOD density? Bigger stratas can suck if they feel too dense, often sitting on noisy land by busy roads

Having smaller ones w a few units blending into streets of SFD homes gives more ppl an opportunity to live on a quieter tree lined walk-able street w/o the SFD price tag or yard upkeep

We have smaller, denser, less peaceful homes than our parents did at our age.

Many of us cannot provide our children w as good as- or better childhood than we hand.

Many of us have more than one job too.

Reposting this. 🍁Canadian Housing. What is more important? a home being a winning investment few can afford, and some of us can continually borrow against, or a structure that provides security & shelter locals can comfortably afford?

Housing crisis is keeping people trapped in abuse.
Who benefits from home prices rocketing?

Not those fleeing abuse when fleeing means precarious finances & housing.
