Mari Lwyd drawing to finish up the year. Apologies for the glare at top left, it’s a sod trying to get decent photos of graphite sometimes :D

It cannot be made clearer.

Some confusing inks that will make a lot more sense when I colour them tomorrow.
Ink drawing of a bird’s eye view of night sky, surrounded by mountains and bony-looking trees.

I’ve been thinking similarly. I wonder if it’s worth sharing artwork on sm, but worry about being utterly forgotten:/

Still a WiP, but maybe not looking so rubbish as it did yesterday. Hope it keeps improving.

I didn’t even do much between the awful looking earlier version and this one. Always amazes me how a few small tweaks can change a drawing.

Was gonna share some WIP, but every time I took a photo it looked weak af and I started to worry the actual artwork is ass. Photos can be a bit unforgiving.

I don't want to get all Chesterton's Fence here, but if you don't understand that a "microscopic snail" is an indicator species that's protected for the health of the entire ecosystem, you probably shouldn't be forming "good relationships" with developers

Damn. This is amazing. £325 per week, paid monthly, for 3 years - and the result was a profit for the Irish economy:
www.citizensinformation.ie/en/employmen...
Post from Threads user rodneyowl: "Ireland has declared the Basic Income for Artists scheme permanent. This will be officially announced in tomorrow’s budget. Details to follow. Congratulations to all who fought for it and the present and future artists of all sorts in Ireland. That includes me 👌We’re just comin to the end of a 3 year pilot scheme. It’s been a roaring success. For every €1 paid out to the 2000 participants, the government got €1.46 back. Can’t argue with that. Other countries are already taking note."
