besides the obvious near-term concrete win here (congratulations Blue Prince, new winner of GOTY) I appreciate this also hopefully makes ultra clear to newer teams that even if their work was as well received as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, AI'll make it ineligible or get an asterisk in awards shows

Just a reminder, Democrats are trying to get the ACA extended, while Republicans voted "no" more than 70 times between its passage in 2010 and the end of the 2017 efforts, and at the very least, voted "no" 13 times just in 2025 alone.

"we USE ai, but our game wont CONTAIN it" is a clarification that no one has ever cared about & now CEOs are using it as a wedge to get their foot in the door as a part of a long term plan into normalizing AI, just like how 'it's just placeholder' was used with E33. dont cede even an inch of ground

For those of you who claim to be allies, please don't let this be a repeat of the Silvervale situation.

We're asking you to take a stand, and not play a video game. Your short term comfort is not more important than the long-term impact of human lives.

Boycott Fortnite. Have a fucking conscience.

I will remember him for that positive side he had.

I do not want Gaston backstory, I do not need Gaston backstory, I reject Gaston backstory

he is a fully formed oaf, consuming eggs by the dozen in one of the greatest villain songs ever written, and that is all we need of him

Again I say: how fucking interesting that remote work technology is bad and not worth adopting despite all research pointing to productivity gains, but genAI which offers NOTHING is so important to adopt and force on people who have no use for it despite all the horrible things genAI does

Hey romancelandia and fandom peeps! If you live in the U.S. right now you should know that KOSA (along with a slew of censorship bills) are advancing through congress right now. If you care about spicy books and/or fanfiction you should contact your reps right now and tell them to vote NO on KOSA!

one of the things that pisses me off about the kosa bill is that we, somehow, are the ones expected to police people's children. maybe parents should do that. call your reps. kosa is NOT good for the internet.

What a disgusting POS. This joke of a "president" needs to be removed. Hell, he never should've been able to be re-elected. The only people who have "Trump derangement Syndrome" Are the people who voted for him and STILL see nothing wrong.

"RemoveWindowsAI" is a script created by zoicware, available on GitHub, that does exactly what it says: it remove every AI feature in Windows 11. Do what you wish to do with this information. I'm sharing this because some folks are forced to use Win11 at work or other places for any reasons.

I understand that a lot of folks have been misled by fear-mongering and powerful regressive voices but it’s still astonishing to me that so many have fallen for the idea that oppressively policing other people’s gender identity and expression could in any way be part of an enlightened future.

AI has actively made life worse for literally everyone

- tech is now more expensive
- you cannot trust most media of reality anymore
- programs barely function
- energy prices
- literal psychosis
- your voice can be literally stolen for evil
- more spyware

but hey, you can avoid paying an artist.
