Yesterday, I drove refugees that had been shipped off to Texas all the way back home to St. Paul
Seeing them reunite with their families reminded me this is their home.

I turned this off *without* losing my sorted inboxes by doing the following:
Gmail > Settings > General > Google Workspace Smart Features, click "Manage Workspace smart feature settings"
Toggle off "Smart Features in Google Workspace", "Smart features in other Google products", and hit save
Gmail > Settings > General > Google Workspace Smart Features, click "Manage Workspace smart feature settings"

Sad realization this year when I got out my Christmas cds that I literally have nothing able to play them. Not even my Xbox will, which is astounding to me.
The kids are correct on this one. Physical media is so important to have and preserve. I’ve become BIG into buying CDs lately and for good reason because I’m tired of depending on terrible apps for music, etc. it’s sadly going to be harder in the coming years probs my to buy DVDS.
Our modern subscription hellhole is aggressively anti-ownership and the kids know it

Never fails. Covid vaccine yesterday; woke up in the middle of the night shivering with fever and then so hot after it broke that I couldn’t get comfortable enough to sleep. Now just tired and mildly achy. I know it’s a good thing to get every year, I just wish I didn’t have to go through this 🥵
