bsky.app/profile/gnom... @abenaoppongasare.bsky.social Now let's reverse Brexit and grow the economy?
I mean yeah, we've shagged the economy, ruined our reputation, damaged defence and caused permanent economic stagnation (at best) with Brexit but hey look, some posh kids can spend a term doing sculpture at the Sorbonne. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/c4...

Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’
This is so disgusting.

These unconscionable cuts to a vital lifeline fund for some of the most vulnerable children & young adults in England are staggering - a 60% reduction from £7.5K to just £3K per child & even worse - these changes were introduced by the government without consultation, warning and no evidence base
🚨This is not what I expect from a Labour government
