So the strategist and the comms guy have gone.

The government's two biggest problems: strategy and comms.

Morning.

I think if you want to mark the moment for Labour’s series of problems in Government, it stems from the moment when Sue Gray was sacked in preference for Morgan McSweeney. Winning an internal or general vote is not the same as governing.

I spent the morning at the San Antonio immigration court. It’s out of control.

Crawling with ICE - arresting legal immigrants showing up for court appearances.

I asked one officer who they are prioritizing. His answer: everyone.

I need to share with you what I saw.

Amount of blood US has expended defending Greenland: zero. Amount of blood Denmark has expended defending the US: 43 Danish soldiers gave their lives in Afghanistan, responding to a US appeal under article 5 of NATO. Ogles has no idea about any of this, because he's an incompetent buffoon.
Ogles: "It's important that we have a stake in Greenland, that they are quite frankly a protectorate of the US. They've been in relationship with Denmark - that needs to end. We've spilled more blood protecting Greenland than the Danes... we are the dominant predator force in the Western Hemisphere"

Johnson doesn’t care about people or the consequences of his actions… he’s never given Jo Cox a moment’s thought. Or Nazanin Zagari-Ratcliffe. Or his Covid victims. His narcissism is grotesque. His legacy is epic damage…. To the country and the many thousands of lives he’s harmed.

PPE Medpro has been liquidated but because it has only £0.6m only £0.6m of the £148m debt will be repaid.

A Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (POCA), placed against Michelle Mone and Doug Barrowman (worth £500m+) would allow all the money to be recovered.

Why hasn't it happened?

When Rishi Sunak made the Vaccine deal with Moderna as Chancellor, he had up to £530m invested in Moderna.

Now Michelle Mone is desperately bringing it up.

Like if you want Mone on trial.
RT if you want them both facing the music.

Guilty of accepting bribes from Russian spies: A good friend of Nigel Farage is highly likely to be jailed tomorrow (Friday). Yet, the story appears to surprise most Clacton voters - and, worse still, unlikely to change the minds of Reform supporters. #ReformWatch

The stupidity of Farage’s latest ‘plan’ is staggering.
Claiming they’d save British taxpayers money by ripping up international commitments and starting a trade war with Europe is the puerile foot-stamp of a party that uses prejudice as policy. Ruinous nonsense.

Party claims its policies would eliminate ‘black hole’ Rachel Reeves faces in the budget – but Labour says the ‘fantasy numbers don’t add up’

The soft pedaling language being used to describe the men in the Epstein files is enraging.

They didn’t “have sex with underage girls”.

They raped them.

Sex implies consent.

The survivors deserve better than this. Use the correct language. Say what these men did.

Should Gibb be sacked? yes, obviously. He's an abomination of basic journalistic standards. His GB News channel spreads conspiracy theory & disinformation. His Jewish Chronicle newspaper spreads invented stories. He is plainly trying to undermine the BBC so it's as bad as everything else he touches.
