England water company CEO says long-term water security is under threat.

Customers already paid, companies didn't build reservoirs, dumped sewage in rivers, neglected investment, paid dividends

Now want to charge customers again, not raising capital from shareholders.

End the scam. Nationalise.
Suffolk water boss says new reservoirs needed to address demand
Water company says it needs two new reservoirs and a recycling plant to cope with demand in Suffolk.

The word “twunt” seems like it was tailor made
Nothing says “I’m a man of the people” than Farage Chauffeur driven to a hunt, in a wax jacket & flat cap that never saw a farm, to see twats in red jackets chase a terrified Fox on horses with blood lust, until it’s ripped to death..

Oh wouldn’t it be great if just for once the Fox had an Uzi❗️
As a man of the people, I will always defend trail hunting, which I know is a top priority for all my working class constituents who own horses and enjoy simple pleasures like ripping foxes apart for laughs.

In English we know it as “Carol of the Bells,” but the melody arises from a Ukrainian folk tradition of songs welcoming the new year and summoning the forces of nature to meet human labor and bring prosperity.
Do listen.
I wrote about the history here: snyder.substack.com/p/o-generous...
Another beautiful Shchedryk performance amidst ruins.

It was set in what used to be a DTEK thermal power plant — now destroyed by russia.

The contrast between russia’s destructive nature and the Ukrainian will to create beauty even in the darkest times is palpable.

I like that Jennifer Whitmore TD kicks ass so nicely. She [like me] is against fox-hunting & is a conservationist. Her attacker, despite his ‘save the foxes’, is pro-hunting. I was brought up to believe torturing animals is both wrong, & non-Christian.

A Government of cowards.

Rather than tackle inequality - they've gone for pensioners, disabled people and now it's people fleeing war and persecution.

They can't get away with this.

We're told one of these land uses is 'productive', while the other is not.

But in terms of photosynthetic levels, as well as the production of clean air, water, no flooding, a stable climate, etc, etc, the natural ecosystem wins hands down.

As for biodiversity, let's not even go there.
