NEW: In an unprecedented move, the NIH will soon disinvite dozens of scientists about to take positions on advisory councils that make final decisions on grant funding.

NIH staff were told to select others aligned with the Trump administration and told to expect placements by political appointees.

The parallels with Lysenkoism are absolutely shocking!
Lysenko hated genetics and had thousands of researchers fired and killed.
We have been there before, we know what will come next.

Thank you for your response!
Personally, I see zero benefit in using ChatBots for project writing. This should be a human creative and innovative process. I fear that the temptation to use such tools will, in the end, significantly reduce the overall quality of the projects.

Exactly, that was the thing that shocked me. It is quite naive. Also, if you write your project using a chatbot, how is it going to stand out from all others written with the same bot in such a competitive field?
It is not a language contest, it's an idea contest.
