Senate Republicans were so eager to dispense with the Epstein measure that they agreed with Schumer to declare it passed by unanimous consent--even though it has not formally been sent over by the House yet. It may land on Trump's desk tonight.

I admit to being confused by how many of them have gotten on board, especially knowing that the bill in question doesn't allow much in the way of redactions. Some are clueless enough to not understand that bit, I suppose, but this is too sudden a reversal not to be sus.
So, bets on which GOP Congressfolk are operating from which presumption?

1. The files are scrubbed, so we can release them
2. If I don't vote for release, my own ass is cooked in the midterms
3. ~*He's genuinely a hero who fought a bad guy, and those files will prove it!*~

I'm so proud of my people today.

ICE tried to pull a quick early morning in-&-out raid in a quiet industrial part of Saint Paul.

Instead they were met by hundreds of protesters, including the mayor and the local council member, whistles shrieking, braving the tear gas, forcing ICE to leave early.

NEW: a contractor is paying random people $300 to physically track immigrants for ICE. They're given addresses, vehicles, told to monitor the target. That information then goes back up to ICE. These are not licensed private investigators; members of the public

This is absolutely disgusting.

This corrupt White House is flagrantly abusing its power to help an alleged sex trafficker spit in the face of the law and avoid any real accountability.
The White House Intervened on Behalf of Accused Sex Trafficker Andrew Tate During a Federal Investigation
Federal authorities were chided for seizing electronic devices from Tate and his brother, and told to return them, records and interviews show. Experts said the intervention was highly inappropriate.

Trump’s White House leaned on DHS to help accused sex trafficker Andrew Tate get his seized devices back. A Trump aide who once joked about having a “Nazi streak” pressed agents to hand evidence to an alleged predator. This isn’t law and order — it’s the sexual predator protection program.

I don't mean to be a buzz kill, but I think it's important to note that this vote was too easy after it was too hard. I see two outcomes ahead:

Nothing is released due to the DOJ "Investigations" ordered by Trump last week

A heavily redacted version is used to punish Democrats.
You’re reading my mind.
