Medical institutions treat trans people as a population to surveil, manage, and dissect, rather than as people to assist or treat with basic dignity.

Oslo University Hospital caught using trans patients' journals for research purposes:
- Without the patients' consent to participate in research
- Affecting minors
- 1700 of them
- Taking highly sensitive information from said journals

This is a HUGE breach.

This happens because transphobia is an institutional imperative and never considered a conflict of interest, or an impediment to providing trans people with care.

The status quo of transition care is trans people subjecting ourselves to the whims of bigots who want to humiliate and exploit us.

The way that major healthcare institutions have just decided the rules don't apply when it comes to trans people. Research ethics? Consent? Basic human dignity? Those would just be too inconvenient and it's only a bunch of trannies.

Oh my gosh that sounds so cool! I figured it probably was since it's published by USC, not to mention the huge crew for what is ultimately a fairly small little indie game. I've played student projects before- who didn't play Narbacular Drop back in the day? but this one really charmed me.
