This is about as good an outcome is possible. It's sadly common for mountain lions which mistakenly end up in urban areas to end up dead.

A very dark sunflower for today’s flower. Just so everyone is clear, ICE is not a law enforcement agency anymore, they are a government sanctioned domestic terrorist organization. 🌱🌻

My favorite garter stitch project was this chevron baby blanket I made for my new little cousin a couple of years ago. It was such an easy knit, and the blanket was so squishy. I’m about to make a new one for a friend’s baby.

I want to be so bored that my mind wanders. I want to come up with ideas and fulfill my creative desires through long thoughtful periods of letting my mind wander.
I want to feel happy with the amount of free time I have. I want to be lazy once in a while. I want to do nice things for people.

I have a hard telling the Tufted Titmice apart, but I can recognize this one. This bird has a bit of fluff on the left wing. This feather has been like this since last Fall. It'll eventually molt away but for now it's fun to tell when this particular little one is around.

Regarding hand-dyed, tonal yarn, any tips for transitioning between skeins especially when one skein is noticeably darker in value? (This is for a merino, semi-lace scarf.) Alternate skeins every 2 rows? Alternate over how many inches of length? ...?

Thank you!

This is Maybelline. She was found as a stray, struggling to breathe. Born with an elongated soft palate and abnormal sinuses that cause severe swelling, she has never been able to take a full breath. Surgery will give her that chance. You can help her below ❤️‍🩹
