it's funny how every time they showed off this stuff it looked marginally less impressive than any amateur-made equivalent that came out years ago. "here is our amazing metaverse" and they proceed to show off models that are nowhere near as lovingly made as some random gay person's fursona in VRChat
The next time someone tells you some dumb-ass tech thing is "inevitable" even if a company has spent tens of billions of dollars on it

My first and definitely last time working with the Los Angeles Times. Editing out the most urgent point of an OpEd in the minutes before sending to press while then also assigning a title and image that suggest an argument entirely opposite to the author’s clear intent is pretty shitty.
